As part of Nemak's growth strategy and directing our actions towards the development of electric mobility, the hiring of an expert engineer in assembly tools is required to manage and control all the fixtures, grippers, welding toolings for our products at the EMC plant, the Tooling Design Engineer will be in charge of complying and maintaining the dimensional characteristics of the product based on the reports generated by CMM.**Main responsibilities**- Reduce the scrap derived from dimensional issues of the products- Review daily dimensional reports originated by CMM, FARO, SPC, QDA and implement corrective actions- Maintain dimensional control of products with adjustments in tooling.- Maintain tools in good condition by implementing maintenance routines.- Develop improvements in tooling that allow increasing the dimensional capacity of products.- Maintain the process capacities (CP, CPK) in the dimensional dimensions of the products.- Manage the history of changes and adjustments that are implemented in the tooling, fixtures, etc.- Support model changes (if required)- Solution of problems derived from dimensional issues or hermantal adjustments.**Position Requirements**- Mechanical, industrial, electrical, electronic or mechatronic engineer.- Interpretation of drawings, GDT- Welding Assembly Tooling- GMAW and SPOT WELDING welding processes- Tooling adjustment- Core tools, SPC, QDA- Statistics- Problem resolution- Mechanical design- Mechanical and pneumatic equipment.- At Nemak, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (D&I) play a fundamental role in everything we do and are the underlying platform on which our culture is built.
