Tooling Design Engineer

Based on compliance with the instructions and requirements described in SAESA's quality and safety management systems, OEM manuals, as well as customer specifications and applicable regulatory authority standards, the Tooling Design Engineer has the following responsibilities:
Design, modify, optimize, and validate tooling required for production or repair methods for aeronautical components processed at SAESA.Verify requirements, and their updates, from OEM and customer manuals.Lead the design, consulting, manufacturing, and follow-up of the implementation of the tools.Design specific tools and propose improvements to existing ones.Lead improvement initiatives related to tools and associated processes.Provide technical support to users regarding the proper use of the tools.Follow up on the evolution of tools and technically justify equivalences.Draw up manufacturing, assembly, and control plans for the tools used in the workshop.Minimum Requirements: Manufacturing and assembly processes knowledge.Knowledge of engines (turbojets, turbofan, etc).Technical documentation from customers, manufacturers, and authorities (CFM, Delta, Goodrich).Heat and surface treatment, properties, and selection of tooling materials.GD&T knowledge.Use of measuring instruments.Reading and interpretation of drawings for manufacturing.Knowledge of national and international standards for mechanical design.Occasional travel may be required.
