Tooling Project Engineer

Responsible for the tooling and manufacturing process design. Will manage the tooling fabrication, tooling try out, process implementation, first production approval process and timeline for successfully launching. Will also be responsible for ensuring that budgets are met, and company profitability hurdles are achieved.Reports To: Tool Room ManagerWork Experience:5+ years of experience in the metal stamping industry in a similar position.Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or other design software.Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers to determine tooling requirements and communicate tooling progress effectively.Journeyman tool and die maker or 10+ years of experience in the field.Assist the tool maintenance department in reverse engineering die components and placing orders with tool shops.Track customer engineering changes.Requirements:Strong oral and written communication skills.Passionate, hard worker, and well-organized professional with the ability to prioritize and multi-task.Experience with progressive, deep draw, and transfer die processes.Working knowledge of secondary operations such as grinding, welding, plating, machining, etc.Ability to read and understand prints and drawings.This position will work in our Operations Facility in Reynosa, Mexico.#J-18808-Ljbffr
