Tor-Opm Specialist

This position is responsible for leading project management activities assigned to successfully deliver them into production on time, within budget, and quality targets, including materials assurance. This activity involves leading and coordinating with associates in global functional areas of the organization at varying levels of management.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsure the project operational functional teams fully understand scope, timing, and internal/external deliverables.Create, maintain, and publish the "Dashboard" for launching projects. The specialist may be required to present his/her dashboard and/or presentations to executive leadership at any time.Facilitate candid, respectful, clear, and continuous communication between our Brookfield team (design, engineering, commercial, marketing, quality, IT, etc.) and our Operations teams in PRC and Mexico.Escalate project risk immediately, work with needed departments to mitigate those risks, and continue to escalate and follow up until resolution.Lead weekly project meetings with cross-functional teams throughout the entire organization; progress to project deliverables is reviewed weekly (as required by project) in OPM meetings, and mitigation plans are created for risk items.Track capital spending for assigned projects, and support the creation of CAR (applicable in Transfers).Understand, document, and share lessons learned in transfer projects, update post-mortem files, and extend the knowledge to the rest of the organization.Ensure ramp-up and ramp-down plans are in place to support project needs related to labor, capacity, materials, and timings.Qualification, Knowledge & Academic Requirements5+ years of experience.Advanced English.Understanding of basic accounting and finance concepts.Understanding of basic quality control concepts.#J-18808-Ljbffr
