Objective of job: Lead and coordinate production projects.Plan, organize, and control subprojects, in cooperation with project management and after approval by supervisor.Develop, monitor, and coordinate project plans with project leaders/supervisors.Develop and coordinate subprojects cost planning; monitor compliance and take countermeasures in case of deviations.Reach subproject goals with regard to production-relevant topics (e.g., plan processes in the industrialization phase, etc.).Implement change requests by internal and external customers, analyze and evaluate cost effects in cooperation with project management and supervisors.Support in supplier selection and in the creation/signing of task interface agreements with suppliers, and provide support in make-or-buy decisions.Prepare to transfer a project to series production and provide series support as contact person for product-specific issues.Lead and motivate associates who report to him/her in the vx project organization.Assure sub-production up through transfer to series production.Assure in cooperation with the assigned Quality Technicians that required inspections within the production process are conducted correctly and in case of deviations proper corrective actions get initiated.Assure in case of product or process non-conformities that Quality Alerts are issued and properly communicated in relevant areas.Facilitate the problem-solving process and coordinate the timely and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions for assigned commodities in cooperation with the plant organization, supplier quality, and other relevant departments.Assure timely responses to internal/external complaints related to assigned commodities in customer portals and internal systems (QSYS) based on customer and internal requirements and procedures.Assure in case of any product or process nonconformities (found internally or communicated by the customer) that required containment activities are initiated immediately and tracked properly in cooperation with production/logistics/supplier quality and customer quality in conformance to customer and internal requirements and procedures.Establish/maintain proper PPAP status and documentation for all assigned commodities and assure the timely submission of required new PPAP's towards our customers.Participate in process audits as required.Participate in continuous improvement activities to improve existing processes/products.Actively promote implementation of prevention rather than detection methods throughout the manufacturing process.Actively participate in new projects to support that plant-specific aspects including lessons learned from previous programs are adequately considered during planning and implementation.Perform any other tasks or assignments not listed within the job description as deemed necessary for the department/company as requested by the department manager.Job requirements: Bachelor's Degree.Quality Assurance.Experience 3-5 years.Quality Assurance in a high volume automotive facility.Complaint management.SEP Project Mgmt.
