KBR's areas of expertise include engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity.As a Track Mechanic II you will:Support the Army Prepositioned Stocks - Four (APS-4) Program located in Camp Carroll, Korea.Provide Care of Stock in Storage (COSIS) based preventive maintenance and repair services under the guidance of the Light Track Section Supervisor.Work on M2/M3A3, M9 and MRLS and/or other track vehicles maintained on APS-4 program.Handle Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS), general inspections, component repairs and replacement, unscheduled maintenance, and the repair of inbound/outbound vehicles.Diagnose or troubleshoot the source of components and system malfunctions.Determine the required repairs, parts, and lubrication of orders.Handle 10 and 20 level PMCS required maintenance.Remove, replace, and repair sub-assemblies and components such as engines, transmissions, turret, armament systems, and replace non-repairable parts.Repair and replace Fire Suppression System modules, sensors, wiring, and extinguisher bottles.Repair and replacement of pneumatic systems and components.Perform maintenance related processes and procedures such as road tests and ground guide operations.Adjust and make emergency repairs to equipment to include placing and maintaining decals on vehicles, check and replace batteries, replace track, clean interiors, and exteriors of equipment, check, and maintain fluids and fuel.Maintain and account for provided and personal tools, equipment, and work areas.Provide technical assistance, guidance, or training to Light Track Mechanic I personnel.Assist in supervising and coordinating the activities of maintenance personnel.Repair all mechanical equipment.Troubleshoot, overhaul, repair, and perform maintenance on all types of automotive, hydraulic equipment, gasoline, and diesel-powered vehicles.Comply with all applicable safety and environmental regulations, local safety policies, and KBR's Zero Harm program.Perform other duties assigned.REQUIREMENTSMust be a U.S. Citizen.Must either possess or be able to obtain an Active Secret Security Clearance issued by the U.S. Government and maintain it for the duration of your employment on this contract.Must have a favorable adjudication of an NACI background check.Must be able to obtain and maintain a base access.Must have a valid U.S. Passport.Must have a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.Requires the ability to provide documentation to qualify as US EXPAT Invited Contractor Status and SOFA Visa IAW USFK 700-19 Regulation
