This is an exciting new team being formed to manage Thermo Fisher's global trade risk and increase efficiencies. Join us in this entry level position as we transform our screening processes and ways of working.
The Position Key responsibilities include, but are not exclusively:
Customer screening against global watch listsReview of transactions to ensure compliance with laws and regulationsIdentification of transactions requiring further due diligence and escalationProviding input to leadership for process improvementsSpecific responsibilities: Strong application and data analysis skills.Assist with internal audits and data gatheringConduct process audits to ensure complianceDevelops and continually improves business processes by assisting with process audits and Practical Process Improvement (PPI) projectsRequirements: High School education preferably with technical base or administration, logistics or equivalent.Proficient written and spoken English, previous work experience with international teamProficient with MS Office programs (i.e. Excel, Word)Good communication skills - understand issues and to be able to formulate and articulate the most appropriate solutions to resolve themHave the ability to positively influence team / colleagues and customers in a professional mannerCompetencies: Maintains strict adherence to processes and rules.Detail oriented, quality and process driven, pro-active, good problem solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to function in a fast-paced matrix environmentAble to work independently and as a member of a diverse teamAble to prioritize and move with efficiency between tasks to meet changing demands, eager to learn on the job and take initiative for additional training and advancementEndurance, social skills and diplomacy with internal and external customers
