I.PURPOSE OF POSITION
Provide support to Thomson facilities on Material Compliance on International regulations in REACH, OHS, SCIP & PROP 65
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive Client requirements (direct client or Thomson Customer Service) in Material Compliance
- Analyze the request and channel to provide a response on Compliance
- Work with the external consultant (Assent Inc.) and through them obtain the response of suppliers for our clients
- Closed monitoring of the work done by Assent Inc. with respect to collecting information from our suppliers.
- Answers without response to clients
- Keep update on regulations (information, training providing by Assent Inc.)
- Support with coordination and/or training on these issues to Engineering and supply chain
- Preparation of formats, procedures, programs and support on Material Compliance

REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION
- Education - Bachelor degree required. Materials Management or other business major preferred
- Fluent in English, strong verbal communication skills interacting with vendors and clients
- Knowledge on Standards is not required (it will provide formal training)
- Industrial field experience
- Basic knowledge about the structure of BOM's Parts, suppliers is required
- Good Attitude (is key)
- Proactive
- Excel (Formulas such us Vlookups, Sumif, Pivot tables) since it will navigate with Noetix reports
