Position Summary:
Perform and analyze Import and Export documents and transactions in Regal Rexnord's Mexico Global Trade Management System (Prisma Global Trade XXI), establish procedures that enforce accuracy of documentation according to legal requirements via documented audits, update of data tables regarding new part numbers, and review/updating of existing ones, contribute to MX Broker Management if required, liaison with logistics function.
Major Responsibilities:
- Audit Export and Import transactions - engage with supervisor or manager on corrections / strategy
- Review Documents for accuracy
- Contribute to data gathering for review and setup of new part numbers and for existing ones
- Review and maintenance of certification of origin data in system
- Collaborate in tariff classification determination and review
- Engage with suppliers and customers on intra-Mexico and International shipments for accurate controls
- Engage with RRX sites for inter-site shipments for accurate controls
- Setup, execute and monitor Virtual transactions
- Execute and monitor submaquila transactions
- Manage TMEC control data base
- Review pedimento accuracy prior to closure and payment
- Assure regulation compliant record keeping of executed transactions
- Involvement in intra-departmental processes for cross-training/business continuance
- Collaborate with MX and US Broker
- Collaborate with In House US Export filing process (Trade Automation)
- Collaborate with Logistics for appropriate operation flow
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
- Technical / Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience with Microsoft Office,
- Effective communicator (verbal, written)
- Analytical / data driven
Desired experience /skills:
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Annex 24 controls
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of TMEC
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of OEA / CIVA
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of HTS Classifications
