.DescripciónAbout TE ConnectivityJob OverviewTE Connectivity's Trade Compliance Teams interpret laws, rules, and regulations regarding shipping and prepare applicatior import/export control certifications and licenses.Position Summary: Assist in the planning, organization and implementation of company or corporate policies and procedures that ensure effective global trade compliance to all applicable import and export regulatory requirements. Areas of knowledge include but are not limited to jurisdiction & classification, export licensing, export screening, prohibited parties, technology control plans, export documentation, letters of credit, contracts, terms and conditions, country of origin determination, valuation, and customs regulations. Works directly with the business unit departments to implement and embed each element of the TE Sensors import/export compliance program.Major Jnctions:Product Classification:Manage and oversee the integration of the jurisdiction and classification program relative to the classification of product, technology and services. Responsibr classifying assemblies and components according to the Harmonized Tariff Schedule and updating classifications bi-annually when the Tariff schedule is updated. Work with Engineering, Customer Service and Product Management on both HTS and ECCN/USML product classification determinations.Export Documentation:Strong working knowledge of export documentation and assist company customer service and shipping personnel with export requirements. Advise and assist on all off-line export shipments. Manage the implementation, coordination, and operations of the export license, authorization and logistics process.Import Processing Work:With TE SENSOSRS Customsbrokers to ensure accurate and timely import clearance. Resolve discrepancies in documentation with suppliers. Responsibr compliance with all applicable import regulations.NAFTA and Othee Trade Agreements:Responsibr qualification of assemblies and components according to tee trade agreement rules. Work with Purchasing and Suppliers to obtain producer's certificates and affidavir proper qualification.Policies and Procedures:Assist in the development and implementation of Business Unit international policies and procedures. Assist in the development and implementation ofrmal Export Management System. Provide technical advice and guidance relative to safeguarding of data related to controlled products, technology and services.Export Screening:Actively support the order/quotation screening process by assisting customers, salrce, proposals and customer service personnel.Recordkeeping and Audit:Responsibr ensuring that all regulatory and TE requirements are met, Provide reporting of compliance deployment initiatives, Assist in coordination and implementation of periodic audits of company recorr compliance with applicable regulations. your background should look like:Four-year degree in businesnance or related techniceld
