.Eaton's ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Trade Compliance and Import-Export Supervisor.**What you'll do**:- The Trade Compliance and Import/Export Supervisor, is responsible to control and keep up to date the IMMEX program, complying with the Mexican and International Laws and Eaton´s policies.- This position also establishes, operates, and control the logistics (domestic, Inbound, and outbound) including the coordination and validation of Customs' transactions, and doing the best use of the NAFTA agreement.- It is also expected that this role can define and execute a plan to establish an IMMEX program for a new operation.- Establish procedures and guides for the "Trade Compliance and Import/Export team" and actions to ensure compliance across the Plant, such as cross-functional training and Internal Audits.- Responsible to ensure compliance to the Mexican and International Laws.- Manage and responsible for the Inventory Control system in compliance with the "ANEXO 24" (Vestra system).- Control Fixed Assets to ensure compliance with Legal regulations and appropiated file records.- Control Scrap process until disposal.- Control governmental documents such as IMMEX program.- Control Sub-maquila material flow process.- Ensure the virtual transferences between Eaton - Suppliers /Customers are executed on time.- Review Import & Export manifests (also known as "Pedimentos") processed at Customs.- Perform internal reviews, audit import and export manifests to identify / detect discrepancies or mistakes and request amendments as needed.- Responsible of import and export transactions at customs ensuring the Import & Export documents are following Mexican and International regulations, record keeping, customs broker instructions, IMMEX management, PROSEC management, suppliers' documents audit.- Support programs & projects to take advantage of Free Trade Agreements (including management of certificates of origin) and other duty-savings opportunities and operating efficiency.- Ensure the accuracy of certificates of origin to customers or NAFTA requirements.- Ensure compliance of OEA and CTPAT certifications, coordinate activities in the Plant for it (Training, internal audits, etc ).- Coordinate the import and export processes regarding operation such as dealing with carriers, sea freight lines, airfreight lines, freight forwarders and brokers to get materials in a timely manner and ensuring accuracy and compliance to law.- Monitors transportation channel selection and conducts performance reviews of carriers to support customer and plant requirements.- Coaches others to understand the impact of missed transactions or noncompliance with fixed assets control in the plant.LI-SL4**Qualifications**:- 1.
