The major role of this position is contribute providing direct support to manage temporary inventory and import/export activity meet with all Mexican Customs regulations for the site.
This role is also a key contributor to maintaining and updating compliance documents to reflect current regulatory requirements and procedures: manage root cause analysis to deliver customs compliance accurate reports as well as generate metrics or KPIs of their operation in charge.
This position will directly impact the performance, the business compliance, the internal/external customer satisfaction.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Contribute with reporting administration:
- Glosa vs data Stage
- Import vs receipts
- Export vs Shipments
- BOM Validation
- Item Master Validation
- Record Keeping management
- Process Import & Export documentation for clearance procesess.
- Collaborate keeping the legal entity in compliance to warranty the certifications and programs accredited like IMMEX, OEA, CT-PAT, PROSEC.
- Promote risk prevention/assessment and process attachment
- Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as: Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectives.
**Background & Skills**:
- **Active student **of Trade compliance, International Business, Administration, Accounting, Logistics or similar **(at least one year before completing studies)**.
- Proficient Microsoft Office
- Intermediate English
- Quick learner & Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.
