You will serve as a subject matter expert regarding trade policies and procedures, training internal stakeholders as needed.
In addition, you will support other related compliance initiatives.Major Areas of ResponsibilityEnsure Company operations comply with applicable international trade laws, regulations, and policies.Provide guidance, leadership, and direction to personnel performing trade-related tasks and activities.Act as a subject matter expert for trade compliance; serve as the central point of contact for interaction with government officials and customers' and suppliers' compliance representatives.Identify trade compliance risks; develop and implement appropriate corrective actions.Prepare, review, and submit applications for licenses, permits and other government authorizations.Monitor deemed export and denied party screening activities for customers, suppliers, third-party agents, employees, and visitors; prepare technology control plans and provide technology transfer oversight as needed.Review and standardize the Company's use of third-party service providers (e.G., customs brokers, logistics) for improved compliance.Exercise working knowledge of government contracting requirements and stay current with U.S. government contracting regulations.Develop and conduct trade compliance training.Develop and implement an audit program of business units and facilities to maintain compliance with the Company's trade program.Analyze and interpret import/export regulations and maintain current knowledge of changes.Provide updates of regulatory developments and compliance requirements to senior management as needed.Provide information and reports necessary for public disclosure and risk management.Coordinate collection and reporting of Conflict Mineral information
