We're looking for motivated workers, thinkers, and doers to help us grow and make the world smarter, safer, and better for everyone.As an Intern you will be guided by Customs leaders and mentors to help you in specific activities related to establishing, implementing and executing reports, analysis, audits for import processes and related to the IMMEX (Maquiladora), you will be able to interact with different global departments of finance, logistics, purchasing, planning, sales and engineering, offering you opportunities for professional development and training.**What You Will Do in your role**Participate in the integration and updating of records for certifications in legal compliance, collect information from suppliers, concentrate the necessary information of part numbers; follow-up, reconciliation and updating of the part numbers, cooperates with the Compliance team for administrative activities, collects information and documents for any internal or external requirement.- Weekly reports of new part numbers created to confirm HTS code.- Monthly reports for compliance audits (Data Stage); correct legal compliance (INEGI validations, CIVA, client/supplier report, etc.) and updating of the AEO and VAT certification programs.- Perform daily activities assigned by your supervisor.**The experience you will bring**- Final semesters of bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign/International Trade.- Proficient in English language (spoken and written)- Intermediate-Advanced Excel (Crosses, pivot tables, data processing and analysis)- Basic knowledge of IMMEX Maquiladora standards.- Basic Knowledge of import and export requirements.- Availability to cover 40 hours per week M-F.**What Will Put You Ahead**- Previous experience as an apprentice in a related area- Complementary Logistics Courses, Annex 30, Annex 24, Incoterms, Customs Regulations, Tariff Classification.- Working knowledge of SAP Transactions and Annex 30.- Customs Law - Fiscal Law focused on Maquiladora Regulations, VAT Certification and AEO Program.- Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical documents, financial reports and required legal and regulatory documents.
