**Description****Trade & Customs Lead****Primary Purpose**:This position works with various groups locally and corporate to establish, deploy an audit the compliance regarding the IMMEX (Maquiladora) Annex 24, VAT Certification Annex 30 & AEO Program (Mexico Supply Chain Certification), Fixed Assets Controls. It requires good communication with all levels of the organization**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Manage direct and indirect Customs Teams, establish SOPs for all the Import & Export operations, Perform Documentation and Training to all the areas Finance, Materials, etc.- Lead and execute internal, external and customs broker audits to assure customs compliance and identify risks implementing a corrective/predictive plan.- Audit and control of Value Manifest, import-export record keeping, harmonized tariff system, origin certification compliance.- Perform risk assessments of Trade & Customs Operations, focused on Legal, Tax and Customs regulations- Stablish Record Keeping process and elaborate monthly control- Strong project management skills utilized while managing multiple projects.**Education**:Required - Bachelor's degree in International Business, Foreign Trade.Preferred - Master's degree, with additional courses of Annex 24, SAP, and Tax.**Experience**:**Required**- 3 to 5 years minimum experience in IMMEX Maquiladora Program, VAT and AEO Certifications and Annex 24 & 30 Systems- SAP Transactions that impact directly to Annex 24.- Annex 24 system end to end process- Working knowledge of attending and answering Mexico SAT audits.- Previous supervisory experience**Preferred**- 5 years minimum hands-on experience in design, build and implement Trade Compliance Controls.**Knowledge**:Required:- Bilingual communication skills, both English and Spanish; both verbal and written- Customs Law - Tax Law focused on the Maquiladora Regulations, VAT Certification and OEA Program.- Proficient computer skills. High Experience with spreadsheet, presentation, and word processing software
