C.H. Robinson is looking to hire a Trade Logistics Lead. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring effective management of the customer's supply chain information using the internal Transportation Management System. You will be accountable for achieving operational efficiency and driving continuous improvement within your area of responsibility as well as within your team. As the Logistics Lead, you will champion and use the enterprise project-based delivery model to identify, manage, and drive projects to conclusion within your team. With the flexibility for remote work four days a week, this role strikes the perfect balance between teamwork and autonomy.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure all arrangements are made for the execution of shipments through your area of responsibility.Create and document standard operating processes while also serving as a resource for peers.Manage complex exceptions and drive problem solving to prevent the reoccurrence of problems and improve processes.Assist in the facilitation of cross training within assigned team.Lead calls, meetings, and internal systems trainings with customer, carrier and vendors.Build and present business cases related to how customers can achieve ROI.Collaborate with internal service teams to meet team and customer goals.Lead small sized operations-focused continuous improvement projects utilizing the enterprise project-based delivery model.QUALIFICATIONSRequired:High School Diploma and/or GED.Minimum 6 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics.2-3 years of experience with Trade Compliance and/or International Logistics, with demonstrated knowledge of customs regulations, international trade agreements, and documentation requirements.Familiarity with export/import compliance programs such as ITAR, EAR, or other country-specific regulatory frameworks.Minimum 3 years of prior experience working with and troubleshooting information systems.Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion, including overtime hours when requested.Ability to travel up to 10% (domestic and/or international).Fluent in English and Spanish.Preferred:Knowledge in supply chain, transportation, and/or transportation management.Prior experience creating and delivering presentations to senior level management.Ability to think critically, perform analysis, identify patterns in operations and data as well as solve problems.Prior experience working in a team oriented and fast-paced environment.Proven success in utilizing project management skills to successfully complete various sized projects.Ability to gather, translate, and act upon voice of customer.Proven experience directing to direct activities of small work group.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs.Values a diverse and inclusive work environment.Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits plan above the Mexican Labor Law.
