Job DescriptionFollow-up and control of costs for freight and customs; for statistics and financial results.To prepare information necessary for generation of budgets of freight and customs costs.Provide information on logistics costs for other parts of the company; for selection of new suppliers in new projects and decision makingCoordinate the Import and export processes- consider the next points: Classification of products, use the LSP and rates approved by Corporate , complying with import and export regulatory documentation by external entities ( GOVERNMENT) and internal requirements.Escalate and coordinate and emergency shipments (HC, Charter, NFO or any other risk )Maintain the TRACS system with complete shipment information; for generation of financial reports and statistics, payments to logistics suppliers, etc.Evaluate monthly the performance of the logistics providers on the correct and timely billing service, as well as the response time of clarificationsSchedule and track shipments with raw material and finished product; for the timely arrival at the plant or client and fulfillment of deliveries on time Ensure corresponding approvals for premium freight; since it is a requirement based on the procedure established in the extraordinary freight plant.Control the delay times in loading and unloading the units; to minimize this expense as much as possible.Evaluate the performance of the providers; to establish actions where required based on the service and deliveries of each of them.In case any error on the invoice regarding the service type required or any other issue with the LSP , you ´ll be responsible to dispute the recovery cost with the LSP or any other claim to LSPQualifications1-2 years of experience in similar positionBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or International Trade.Experience in accounting, financial, CustomsProficient in using SAP preferredStrong proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.CTPAT, OEA knowledge.Intermediate-Advanced EnglishAdditional InformationAt Continental we are committed to building an inclusive and discrimination-free ecosystem in Mexico, these principles are rooted in our corporate philosophy and culture.
