We set the course for technological change and are a highly capable, experienced partner for the automotive industry.Descripción del empleoYou will be responsible for:Coordinate the LSPs (Logistics Service Provider – freight forwarder, broker, overland transport company) to optimize the freight cost and delivery efficiency:Feasibility of milk run and truckload routesTrack LSP performance and establish action plan & corrective actionsPlay an active role within the contractings in order to assure cost and performance targets are metCoordinate international inbound traffic, which includes airfreight, ocean containers for components, products, indirect material and machinery.Coordinating and auditing the billing process within the LSPs.Initiate and coordinate all domestic traffic and material transportation.Support the Customs Compliance which includes:Coordinate and provide the information for the determination of the correct Harmonized Tariff Code for imported goodsSubmit and fill all Customs documents to ensure complianceAudit entries made to Customs on behalf by Customs brokersCoordinate and provide the information for the determination of the Origin's CertificateFile damage freight claims to ensure cost recovery and take corrective action with carrier.Participate in the freight budget planning construction.Report performance to freight budget and implement corrective actions if necessary.Regularly represent the company through written and verbal communication, as well as personal visits to various traffic-related companies.Deep collaboration and interaction with the corporate department responsible for TAX and international trade.Support CIP activities and Policy Deployment objectives.RequisitosAssociate's degree in supply chain management or related discipline and two plus years of experience in traffic/shipping in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of traffic rules, regulations, and processes governing the movement of domestic and international freight, including NAFTA, Certificates of Origin, industry trends and practices, and CTPAT.Experience in using transportation software.Demonstrated teamwork and customer orientation.Ability to manage multiple priorities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Excellent analytical, organizational, and time management skills.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.#J-18808-Ljbffr
