**Job Summary**
Manages the transportation and storage of material. Their primary duties are managing resources and working together with the different departments to ensure compliance in the supply chain, supervise transportation; guaranteeing the availability of trucks for the transfer of materials, and oversee day-to-day supply chain logistics for the company.
**Traffic/Logistics Specialist duties and responsabilities**:
- Manage road transport units in each plant.
- Track loading, unloading and arrivals with the client.
- Management of transport providers.
- Negotiates prices, selects or recommends suppliers.
- Administration of utility vehicles of the company.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
**Job Requirements and experience**:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or engineering.
- Fluency in English
- +2 years experience or equivalent in a similar position
- + 25 years old
- Previous experience in a similar position/industry (desired)
- Experience in metalworking/automotive industry (desired)
- Availability to roll shifts
- Steelmaking operation
- Knowledge of national transport legislation ( NOM-012-SCT) and international.
- Familiarization with foreign trade laws
- ASTM/IATF/ISO900 Standars
- Management skills, negotiation, leadership, planning, team management multidisciplinary, problem solving and data analysis, skills for the decision making.
