The role demands a blend of creativity, experience in instructional design, and a solid understanding of engineering concepts and adult learning principles.Key Responsibilities:- Develop comprehensive learning materials such as e-learning modules, instructor-led training, job aids, and multimedia content.- Update and maintain course quality to meet Polaris Engineering standards.- Use multimedia technology and authoring tools for innovative training solutions.- Collaborate with various teams to align learning content with company objectives.- Manage multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery of quality content.- Set and follow through on project timelines and milestones.- Assess training effectiveness and incorporate feedback for improvement.- Keep ahead of instructional design and engineering education trends.Key Skills:- Proficiency in instructional design and e-learning authoring tools (MS PowerPoint, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Storyline).- Ability to design and deliver engaging and effective training programs.- Skills to translate complex engineering concepts into clear, concise training materials.- Creative problem-solving abilities.- Independent and collaborative work skills across global teams.- Effective communication and teamwork abilities.- Effective time management under tight deadlines.- Professional demeanor and customer service excellence.- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, Visio.Education/Experience:- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in training and development- Bachelor's or master's degree in Instructional Design, Engineering Education, or a related field.- Proven experience in designing technical training programs, preferably in an engineering context.- Knowledge of learning management systems and e-learning platforms.- Background in Engineering and or manufacturing preferred.- Experience with powersports or automotive fields training preferred.- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.About PolarisAs the global leader in powersports, Polaris Inc.
