JOB SUMMARY Under the direction of the Site Leader, the Sr. Analyst, WFD & Continuous Improvement is responsible for coordinating the development, delivery, and administration of assigned employee development programs for the Tampico plant workforce, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives.
This role manages competency programs (professional, paraprofessional, EHSS, and leaders' development), career planning, and SABIC development programs (Job Qualification Program (JQP), Continuing Professional Development (CPD), and Individual Development Plans (IDPs)), alongside implementing process improvement strategies.
How You Can Be the Impact Workforce Development: Drive competency management programs and career planning initiatives.
Develop and implement training programs aligned with business strategy.
Administer and improve Learning Management System (LMS) and training processes.
Evaluate and enhance effectiveness of development programs.
Support implementation of SABIC development programs (JQP, CPD, IDPs).
Continuous Improvement: Lead improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or other methodologies.
Create and maintain performance metrics dashboards.
Train employees on continuous improvement tools and techniques.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with site and global functions to address knowledge/skill gaps.
Partner with leaders to align improvement initiatives with business objectives.
Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions.
Administer OMS competency assessments and plan accordingly.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Develop and track KPIs for workforce development and improvement initiatives.
Present insights and recommendations to leadership using data visualization and communicate insights and recommendations.
What Matters to SABIC Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 2-3 years of combined experience in training, workforce development, and continuous improvement.
Demonstrated use of open advocacy and authentic inquiry to effectively interact at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Proficient in MS Office applications, statistical analysis tools, and process mapping software.
Experience with project management and change management methodologies.
Excellent facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
Strong personal leadership skills and abilities, including effective influencing and communication skills (verbal, written, listening).
Ability to work effectively on cross-functional and global teams.
Adaptability and willingness to learn and apply new improvement methodologies and tools.
