Training Instructional Designer

.The Training & Development Specialist is responsible for the research, proposal, design, implementation, and conducting of any respective training and development program. They should attend any necessary training on hosting the programs, as well as collaborate with any necessary internal or external personnel.General ResponsibilitiesParticipate in conducting training sessionsParticipate in the testing of trainees to evaluate and measure their learning processCoordinate the design and development of training and educational programsExperience / QualificationsA university degree required (i.E. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong communication skills; oral, written, and presentationStrong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve resultsStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrityHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standardsProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customersThe Instructional Designer & Learning Technology Specialist will create online learning modules and live web-based training sessions, instructor-led training guides, and supporting materials following an instructional design process. This role will also be responsible for project management and monitoring the learning technology environment for tools, best practices, and resources that will enhance the delivery of learning through our learning management system (LMS), Workday Learning.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine objectives for a course and/or curriculum, with a heavy emphasis on self-paced eLearning modulesWork with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needsState instructional end goals and create content that matches themConduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contextsWork with customers via email, phone, online, and in person to collect information needed to complete modulesQuickly synthesize and write course content based on input from subject matter experts, written material, previous training courses, interviews, etc
