**The Opportunity**
As **Training Manufacturing Supervisor**, you´ll lead the Operational Training Team to support area needs. Directs projects to ensure the manufacture of high quality product and to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsible for the coordination, development, implementation and execution of training programs for the manufacturing areas and peripheral groups including the development and innovation of the training programs. Maintains the area compliant with applicable policies and procedures.
Works with other area managers (Compliance, BEX, Quality, EHS, Human Resources) to foster the organizational culture and behaviors required to achieve EP vision. Ensures Training processes are run in alignment with Abbott procedures and policies and in compliance with external Standards and regulations and are continually improving to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
Develops the training organization and foster a culture of operational excellence. Tracks training efficiencies and continuously and consistently implement updates based on the results
**What You'll Do**
- Responsible to do the required interfaces with local cross functional teams and Division for delivering strategies and implementing Training initiatives, goals and objectives. Responsible to ensure consistency in the training approach across the different sites and departments.
- Responsible to identify training needs, research for training operations and develops /recommends the most effective methods in relation to the job function, activities associated to the introduction of new products and processes, etc. to ensure timely completion of training prior execution. Reports training/knowledge gaps and executes actions as deemed necessary.
- Responsible to ensure the correct trained staff to support Operations' needs. Accountable for the maintenance of the Operations Training Matrix, cross training program and rotations.
- Responsible for the planning and organization of training projects assignments by initiating and maintaining the milestones and the schedule. Monitors daily work and provides direction and guidance to experienced exempt employees, or skill non-exempt staff to achieve or project goals.
- Responsible to communicate production changes to affected areas and to ensure changes are understood. Acts as a change agent, mentor, and coach to drive and sustain Training in the site. Responsible to contribute in the development, interpretation, and implementation of training policies and procedures that affect work processes and personnel.

**Required Qualifications**
- Education: Bachelor in Science, Engineering, or arts with a major in Education
- Minimum 2 years Experience in regulated environment specifically in Quality, Operations and Training
- Profecient in English
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Strong analytical skills and ability to improve processes and related documentation, Knowledge of unionized environments is a plus, knowledge in computer systems is required
- Basic knowledge in mathematics is required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
