Coordinates all technical and partner training events and functions within a region. This will include but will not be limited to scheduling courses, enrolling participants, managing instructor assignments, facilitating events, monitoring classroom activities, preparing and managing invoicing, tracking and shipping of courseware and equipment, evaluating and documenting training effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations and Scheduling (40%)
The Training support coordinator is responsible for developing a calendar for their region that details what training courses are available, when, where, the cost, and seat availability. This includes internal or external customer facing courses.
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders regarding organizational training needs
- Schedules and organizes training programs to meet specific organizational training requirements
- Uses various software platforms to schedule events, enroll participants, send invitations, and manage classes
- Maintains stocks for Instructor/Student Guides, Training Aids, Demo Kits and other consumable items for courses
- Maintains and distributes a printed and electronic version of course catalogs and training content
- Tracks and reports course completions, certifications and certification expirations
- Sends notifications to provide feedback to program participants and management
- Sends notifications of pending certification expirations and recertification requirements
Instructor Management (20%)
- Assigns instructors that have the requisite knowledge, skills, and experience to teach the courses
- Works closely with internal and external 3rd party Instructors to facilitate and schedule necessary facilitators and instructors for each event on the training schedule
- Negotiates and maintains contracts and agreements with Event Venues, Caterers, and Shippers to support class requirements
Facility Management (10%)
- Tracks internal spaces that are in use as well as securing external training spaces and ensuring that no double-booking problems occur
- Handles logistics for On and Off-Site training activities including Instructors, Venues, and Equipment
Equipment Management (10%)
- Manages any equipment that the company uses for training purposes. This may include computer equipment, projectors, simulation models, and other equipment necessary to deliver training
- Manages and maintains in-house training facilities and equipment
Marketing (10%)
- Assists in promoting scheduled training programs to ensure cost-effective internal and external audience participation. This may include ensuring an updated schedule/catalog is available on our website, working with Marketing or Sales Enablement to communicate appropriate sales or notification campaigns
Finance Management (10%)
- Works with Partners and users to collect payment for classes
- Schedules Instructors, venues, classes in such a way as to maximize service to our customers while keeping costs as low as possible
- Helps to manage and maintain the training budget by smart scheduling and efficient resource control
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Required Degree: High School Diploma
- Preferred Degree: Associate's degree in a related field, or Equivalent Work Experience
- Years of Experience: 1-3 years' experience
