Expeditors is headquartered in Seattle, Washington.**Job Description**:**Scope of Position**Ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service within the Transcon Department and remaining focused on Operations, Finances, Sales, People, Systems, and Culture in adherence to the company's policy and procedures.**Service Provider Management**- Ensure to work only with 100% approved SP- PU&D Connectivity**Operations**- Comply with company controls, policies, procedures, processes including the credit policy.- Participate in daily huddle meetings and Supervisor meetings when is needed.- Hazardous Materials Certification (HAZMAT Preferred)- Global logistics Industry Knowledge- Basic Local Knowledge for Compliance- Provide feedback of Employee Satisfaction initiatives.- Contribute to the effective weekly department meetings with team.- Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers and vendors.- Effectively execute within the Transcon department, assisting our relentless pursuit of efficiency and operational excellence:- Performance Management: Support oversight, including self-assessments and daily, weekly and monthly performance monitoring so that issues (root cause) are resolved proactively.- Exception Management: Help key all exceptions to provide visibility internally (controlled) and through interacting with our customers (uncontrolled).- Help identify areas to improve the process in a more efficient way to offer customers better cycle times, service while improving margins.- Actively participate in the optimization of systems and tools and continuously improve the efficiency, productivity and quality of the service.- Make certain that client specific instructions are followed to properly process shipments and invoices.- Properly use all Expeditor systems and tools, especially CFIT, ETMS, CRM, ECCO, EDOC.- Log files correctly and timely with proper codes, trace types and events.- Ensure that all correspondence within business unit is handled timely and professionally.- Maintain highest compliance levels for all applicable Transcon requirements.- Escalate issues to Transcon Management team timely when needed.- Account Management at every Level
