**Transport Requirements Specialist**
MAJOR TASKS
The key responsibilities of the Regional Requirements Specialist are:
Project & implementation management Drive the implementation of new rules, regulations and requirements on regional level based on alignment with the Global Requirements Specialists, Supply Centers, GSM, OM and other relevant functions as well as the 4PL Define / document and implement transportation standards for PH and CH Closely collaborate with global requirements specialists as well cross divisional team and the 4PL to ensure that PH and CH specific transportation and storage requirements are included in all relevant documentations and adhered to Develop deep insights and support logistics operations with PH and CH business knowledge Closely work with PH and CH business and SCM functions to develop and maintain a deep understanding of the divisional specific business and customers in order to be able to act as an adequate partner for supply chain design and to advocate the related business requirements towards the global / regional logistics teams and the 4PL Understand logistics markets and solutions for the PH and CH area Develop & maintain a very good market understanding about logistics solutions available from a provider, location and technology standpoint to be able to act as a logistics advisor to the PH and CH business and to implement efficient and effective solutions together with the global requirements specialists, business and our external providers.
Support of 4PL governance with insights into markets (e.g.
for performance reviews, audits) Establish a regional oversight on logistics performance (working closely with logistics analysts, transport operators and the nominated 4PL as well as the global requirements specialists) and steer performance corrections where required.
This includes operational performance, demand forecasting and cost as well as quality elements Provide insights intologistics markets to co-lead carrier / 3PL sourcing with 4PL Support the alignment of the sourcing strategy and tender execution with the 4PLs and Bayer Procurement from an operational perspective for the regional scope Deviations Management: Ensure timely processing of deviation, drive the proper evaluation of root causes, ensure finalization and implementation of respective CAPAs and act as contact partner towards the 4PL
SKILLS
Masters degree with focus on logistics or supply chain management (desireable) 2-3 years of experience in the logistics industry or a shipper in the pharmaceutical, consumer health or Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry Excellent understanding of logistics and supply chain processes in the pharmaceutical and / or consumer health industry Good understanding of transport markets (ocean and air freight) and technologies (packaging, transportation, )
