About the Role Provides day-to-day technical and administrative support for logistics staff and activities.
What You Will Do Tracking and reporting on activities, costs and expenditures for all transportation modes.
Verifying documents and checklists are accurate and complete.
Notifying departments of shipping or receiving schedules and of any logistics problems. Maintaining records of all shipments and invoices using an established system. Standard Operating Procedures: Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Logistics Management: Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand, predict and control the movement of goods, materials and supplies.
Transportation - MFG: Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to and from suppliers, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities and customers.
What is Required: Bachelor's degree completed Business administration, Engineering. Level of English Advanced-Intermediate, spoken and written is required. Management of Office package (Excel, Power Point, Power Apps) Minimum 2 years of experience in International Business or Foreign Trade, experience in Transportation Processes (Air, Maritime, Land) Import, Export and National. Experience in Transportation cost analysis, Tenders, Expense Forecasts and Budget Management. Experience in using databases, information analysis.
