And you'll do it in modern, clean, safe environments equipped with the latest technologies.**Job Purpose**:Manages the Transportation Service Provider services provided by Caterpillar contracted service providers for the shipment of Caterpillar components and machines domestically and overseas. Identifies, investigates, and resolves problems with shipments to ensure accurate and on-time delivery to facilities, and develops initiatives to improve service and lower cost.**Job Duties / Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to**:- Collaborating with the Carriers, Transportation Operations, Procurement, Suppliers, and Facilities to resolve complex issues- Responsible for critical supplier communications regarding FOM/TOCS processes- Relationship management / regular meetings / performance improvement initiatives with key GTOC cross-border customers- Responsible for proactive track & trace of critical supplier shipments within the GTOC cross-border network- Collaborate with peers to achieve demanding team goals- Support PVT goals and lead continuous improvement initiatives**Basic Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent job experience- 5+ years of experience in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain and/or Packaging- Fluent English- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word)- Previous project management experience with high impact initiatives- Experience working with carriers, suppliers, and operations teams- Lean experience- Customer Service Experience**Final details**:**All qualified individuals - Including minorities, women, and individuals with disabilities - are encouraged to apply**Caterpillar is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO).Not ready to apply?
