- Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group's engines and transmissions as well as all production of Volvo, Renault, Mack and UD trucks. Group Trucks Operations also includes spare parts supplies to the Group's customers as well as logistics.**Service Market Logistics (SML) **is part of Group Trucks Operations. We have over 10,000 employees on more than 80 locations world-wide. Our job is to design, handle and optimize the supply chain for all Volvo Group brands and for selected customers within the automotive industry. The scope for Logistics Services includes making sure that management of material, warehouses and distribution ensures the availability of parts everywhere in the world. We make sure all service market logistics are delivered with world class operational excellence.- SML North America is a part of SML and manages logistics and delivery functions throughout North America (Canada, USA and Mexico).- As a Transport Management Specialist, you will leverage Lean principles, operational and cost analysis and a keen attention to detail to ensure carrier performance is compliant to contracts and agreements. You will help drive continuous improvement in the areas of cost-effectiveness and environment consciousness. You'll set, agree and communicate goals, standards and performance expectations in an open, straightforward and easily understandable way.-
- Engineering in logistics and customs or similar Experience in logistics or warehouse facilities. Six Sigma Certification Minimum experience of three years
