As a TRANSPORTATION PLANNER, you will ensure the efficient execution of outbound, inbound and interplant transportation plans improving logistics costs and ensuring timely delivery.
You will report to Transport Coordinator.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Allocate freight to carriers.
- Lead transportation events to ensure manufacturing at manufacturing sites and customer happiness.
- Improve transportation unit loads to ensure service and delivery levels.
- Develop and coordinate tactical transportation plans.
- Implement programs to improve operating costs.
- Evaluate service levels of freight carriers.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Validated experience in Domestic and International Materials Transportation.
- 1+ years of experience with Oracle transportation management system preferred.
- Transportation vendor management.
