*Primary Objective of Position*- Supervises and coordinates activities production workers.- Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and directs set up and adjustment of machines.**Technical Job Functions**- Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of the job assignment.- Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.- Interprets specifications, blue prints, and job orders to workers, and asigns duties.*Authorities and Responsibilities*- Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.*Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.*Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving works problems.*Initiates or suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve works goals.*Maintains time and production records.JOB REQUIREMENTS**Knowledge**- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.**Communication**- Ability to read and comprehend simple instruction, short correspondence, and memos.- Ability to write simple correspondence.- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization**Interpersonal**- Ability to demonstrate character, integrity, honesty, ethical behaviors and industriousness.- Ability to effectively participate in teams and projects and contribute to unit cohesiveness and productivity.**Education and Experience**Associates Degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.*Work Authorization*No calls or agencies please.
