Transportation Supervisor

The company has managed supply chain synergies for global automotive and technology companies for more than 60 years.We are looking for Supervisors for 1st and 2nd Shift.About the RoleHow you will contributeCoordinate and control the order cycle and associated information systems.Monitor the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.Assign approved service provider for transportation based on the approved carrier matrix, mode, service level, and cost efficiency to meet the customer's expectations.Ensure that all transport fleet vehicles are properly maintained.Proactively work with operations to identify shipments at risk of not meeting secure dates based on mode, service level, miles, equipment type.Other duties as assigned.Your Key QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field.Experience performing professional level operational and plant management duties; preferably in automotive or logistics industry.Knowledge of principles and procedures used in material planning and logistics operations and practices.Knowledge of various means of transport / transit times.#J-18808-Ljbffr
