About the role:
The
**Treasury Accounting Analyst** is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely accounting of treasury transactions for investments, borrowings, interest payments, derivatives and all other treasury activities related to Mexico and Peru operations. Additional responsibilities include reconciling month end balances and supporting the accounting close process which includes providing reports to Corporate Headquarters (USA).

This role is also responsible for SOX compliance audits, external audits and for managing, monitoring & loading contract data to NAFIN Online, and to prepare reporting as needed. This position is responsible for providing servicer report to Investors, Rating Agencies, Common Representatives and Financial Institutions that provide funding through committed securitized borrowing facilities.

What you need:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related fields.
- Advanced English skill (will be evaluated in interviews)
- At least 3 years' experience in accounting and/or the Financial Services Industry.
- Ability to establish priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Proven skills in MS Excel, MS Power Point and ability to work and process large amount of data.

What you will be doing:

- Prepare reports for additional Funding "Top Ups"; prepare contracts letters and investor report.
- Communication to Banks the amounts of new funding.
- Ensure accurate and timely administration of NAFIN loan guarantees: this includes loading contract data to NAFIN online, monitoring (reporting & analysis) performance and accounting.
- Daily accounting of all funding activities.
- Ensure compliance with servicer function requirements stated in the agreements with banks.
- Provide analytical support as requested to Treasury, Accounting, and other business groups.
- Prepare reconciliation balances for GL restricted cash and borrowings.
- Prepare reports to corporate headquarters & Accounting Memos.
- Assist with documentation and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
- Prepare information for banks and regulatory authorities (CNBV, BMV).
- Prepare reports to monitoring Triggers & Covenants on secured debt.
- Support the accounting month end close process.
- Participate in special projects as necessary.
