.The Finance Reporting Lead Analyst is a senior professional position responsible for driving the generation, analysis, and submission of reports to various constituencies based on requirements such as US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), US Regulatory, and local statutory reporting, in coordination with the broader Financial Reporting Team. The overall objective is to apply in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to directional strategy.Responsibilities:Manage a team supporting LATAM liquidity productionSupport the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies (local regulators, SEC, Fed, OCC, etc.) based on requirements such as US GAAP, US Regulatory, and local statutory reportingAssist with closing the books and sub-ledgers, including passing appropriate required adjustment entries and consolidating financials at the end of each accounting periodInstill operational discipline into existing team processesWork with senior leadership on strategic planning, establishing guidelines, implementing controls, and executing strategic plansMentor and advise on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application within role and the businessAssist with the implementation of policies and proceduresServe as a technical mentor for an area within the businessBuild and maintain a thorough understanding of related product reporting and analytics and utilize knowledge of systems and process flows to provide insight and recommendations on identified issuesHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervisionCan exercise independence of judgement and autonomyActs as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team membersAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparencyQualifications:6-10 years of experience in Financial Services preferredExperience leading and managing teams preferredAbility to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirementsProven organizational and time management skillsProven problem-solving and decision-making skillsConsistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's Degree/University degree in a related fieldMaster's degree preferredAdvanced EnglishThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
