**ABOUT THE JOB**
- You will lead, engage, develop, retain, and drive sales, service, and welfare performance for a small international team.
- You will invest a lot of time in new colleagues - building confidence and equipping them to succeed whilst monitoring and driving performance of any more experienced team members.
- You will train and equip your team to pro-actively inform and communicate with guests in a digital way. Focusing on response times, tone of voice and quality of communication.
- You will be overseeing the support of our international guests in more complex, sensitive, or emergency situations that need that extra special attention.
- You will be regularly on the frontline leading by example - be it coaching, closing sales, or resolving escalating problems on the spot. This includes being an advocate of our evolving digital sales & service tools. In addition to this there may be situations where you will need to liase with local authorities, embassies, and local hospitals.
- You will be constantly aware of team performance vs. target and be happy to support and performance manage those under target if required.
- Finally - you will support your wider destination in general including the back-office team and may also support the airport operation as and when required.

- Emotionally intelligent and able to deal with potentially sensitive and distressing situations.
- Comfortable to analyse data to develop sales, service and welfare action plans to exceed set targets and expectations.
- Willing to quickly get to grips with the demands of the job, the technology needed to do it and the ability to remain calm in a high-profile welfare situation and / or crisis.
- You are fully conversational in English, be a driver. Extra languages will be helpful.
