As a Senior Business Analyst in the Mexico Marketplace team, you will work closely with the regional ops team to create and deploy new tools and pricing strategies to improve our customer's app experience.The ideal candidates will combine analytical expertise, creative problem-solving, and strong leadership skills to scale products, optimize operations, and enhance financial performance.
If you're a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments, we want to hear from you!What You'll DoProduct & Strategy Execution:Optimize and scale Uber's products to meet market demands and improve user experience.Collaborate with Regional and Product teams to roll out new features and refine functionalities based on user feedback and operational needs.Define and execute short- and long-term growth strategies for product scaling and market expansion.Operational Excellence:Develop and implement data-driven strategies to balance supply and demand, ensuring reliability and high-quality rider and driver experiences.Identify operational inefficiencies and drive process improvements to enhance scalability, trip completion rates, and retention.Own the end-to-end configuration, maintenance, and optimization of product offerings.Financial Performance:Monitor financial health, including gross bookings, costs, and profitability metrics.Optimize resource allocation, manage budgets, and implement pricing strategies or incentives to align with business objectives.Conduct cost-benefit analyses and forecast financial performance to support strategic decision-making.Data & Analytics:Leverage data analytics to identify challenges, inform decision-making, and drive actionable insights.Build dashboards and tools to monitor KPIs such as trip growth, user satisfaction, and operational reliability.Cross-Functional Collaboration:Partner with cross-functional teams (Policy, Legal, Safety, Marketing, CommOps) to align priorities, navigate challenges, and ensure compliance in regulated markets.Be a key thought leader and stakeholder manager, driving alignment across global, regional, and local teams.What You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.4+ years of experience in operations, business strategy, logistics, product management, or analytics.Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools; ability to interpret and communicate insights to various audiences.Strong project management skills: experience managing complex initiatives from concept to execution.Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.Ability to balance attention to detail with swift execution in a fast-paced environment.Fluency in English and Spanish.Bonus Points:Financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, profitability analysis, and cost optimization
