HQ is located in sunny Santa Monica, California with growing teams in New York, and across cities in the US and Latin America.Your role at MediaLabWe are looking for an experienced and talented UI/UX Designer to join one of our properties and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to transform our vision into a compelling product that delights users.What You'll DoLead the end-to-end product design process, from concept to launch, for mobile and web platformsCollaborate closely with users, engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to create innovative solutionsCreate consistent and adaptable designs for multiple platformsConduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisionsAnalyze user behavior using quantitative tools like Mixpanel and qualitative methods such as user interviews and surveysDevelop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to test and communicate design conceptsPresent designs and ideas to stakeholdersPartner with product, data, and engineering teams to design and analyze A/B tests for continuous improvementPrototype interactive mobile and/or web experiencesWhat We're Looking ForStrong product design skills with a focus on user-centered design methodologiesExperience working in an agile project environment with distributed teamsAbility to think at a high level about product strategyExperience designing and solving for mobile applicationsProficiency in Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Photoshop, CSS and/or other design toolsProficiency in Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Looker, and/or other user analytics toolsEnglish proficiencyAt MediaLab, we rely on a range of backgrounds, experiences, and ideas.
