Key Responsibilities:
- Possesses and applies a wide variety of Techniques, Practices and Procedures within their area of Specialization that allow them to Solve Complex Projects and Problems that require Analytical and Initiative skills as a minimum of Supervision
- Identify USW according to customer's drawing project
- Coordinate with new product development the required material: conductors / terminal - Coordinate with engineering the space available for the team
- Coordinate with Electrical Engineer the electrical and pneumatic downspouts
- Coordinate with systems and industrial engineer downstreams for the network
- Coordinate unpacking and movements with machinery maintenance
- Coordinate with engineering the installation, assembly, connections and start of debugging
- Carry out the connections and commissioning of the machine
- Coordinate the installation of the database (Data Extraction Tracking System)
- Perform the initial data validation (test samples for each terminal
- Coordinate with DOE machine suppliers, if applicable.
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering, Welding Operation and Sample Construction
- Coordinate with Quality Engineering the study of measurements
- Coordinate with Quality Engineering the cross-section, in accordance with USCAR38/45
- Coordinate with quality engineering the study of pull tests and images for report
- Coordinate with quality engineering the validation of the electrical test, if applicable
- Coordinate with Quality Engineering: Thermal Shock Test, if applicable
- Filling out the capacity analysis form - Send report to client
- Root cause analysis and troubleshooting.
- Solves complex problems by coordinating or executing activities within their area of engineering specialization, such as, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, etc.
Process Experience
- Review of Flowcharts Prior to Production Deployment
- Follow-up on the selection and evaluation of equipment and tools that ensure error-free processes.
- Supervise and implement the selection of automated process parameters/controls in such a way that they comply with international standards and customer requirements.
- Support technicians/mechanics for troubleshooting.
- Develop and implement continuous process improvement programs.
- Prepares requisitions for the purchase of required parts and materials, giving the respective follow-up for their prompt acquisition.
- Define tool matrices, set-ups, preventive and corrective maintenance sheets, etc. - Maintains and/or maintains the updating of the list of the location of the equipment and machinery of the plant, indicating serial number, location, etc.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline
- Master's degree preferred.
- 7-10 years' experience in engineering related discipline.
- Experience within Auto/VH and Ultrasonic/Welding
- based control systems.
- Experience with Data acquisition systems.
- Experience with developing pneumatic systems.
- Experience with database development, and the management of data stored.
- Technical Skills - Strong engineering background in manufacturing with an understanding process control system.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Project Management Skills - Organized management approach.
- Able to set priorities, identify risks and opportunities.
- A balanced approach to cost -Vs
- effectiveness and productivity.
- Proficient in Microsoft office products
- Must act with sense of urgency and be able to energize others to work the same to achieve organizational goals/objectives
