DescriptionRole Purpose :The primary purpose of this role is to partner in the development and execution of the Mexico Property underwriting strategy and support the Active Underwriter and the wider underwriting community across Everest Global Markets in its delivery.Core Responsibilities :Underwrite and price Property risks and determine the acceptability of risksPrepare quotations and formal proposals on new and renewal businessDeliver a high level of response time and service quality to clients and brokersBind coverages subject to authority level and answer inquiries from producersEnsure that documentation is completed timely and accurately according to standardsExpand the Property portfolio in line with controls, underwriting strategy, and guidelines while always maintaining a focus on bottom-line underwriting profit and deliveryDevelop and maintain relationships with key brokers and clientsAssist the Head of Property in addressing and resolving overdue, workflow, and various clerical issues as necessaryInteract and coordinate activities with other departmentsLiaise with other underwriting departments as necessaryRecommend new procedures and programs where warrantedResponsible for complying with proper internal controlQualifications :Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or a related field2-4 years of professional work experience in a related fieldAdvanced English (90% of the activities will be in this language)Outstanding interpersonal relationship-building and development skillsMotivated and result drivenAnalytical thinkingProficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant IT toolsOur CultureAt Everest, our purpose is to provide the world with protection.
