Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose - to make great products that create value and improve people's lives.- Job Summary- To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Universe Database Administrator located in Guadalajara, North Campus.- What a typical day looks like:- Universe database Installation and Upgrades.- Installation of Universe database patches and hotfixes.- Debugging BASIC programs to identify issues and problems.- Management of different type of database locks and monitoring and clearing them.- Application configuration and performance tuning.- Configuring and Managing universe database on Linux incl Printer and user management.- Managing file access permissions on Linux based on internal security policy.- Configure Schedule Agent Jobs/ Tasks, Windows job scheduling.- Configure and monitor Log Analytics solutions like ELK, AIOps tools.- Collaborating with internal Unix/Linux/Windows support teams.- The experience we're looking to add to our team:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent systems experience.- Fluent on BASIC program with universe Database- Must be fluent in English.- Basic skills in Linux / Unix and Windows.- Basic skills in Relational Databases and Open-source databases.- Basics of Programming, scripting. Any development contribution to Open-source organizations will be good to have.- Open to learning new skills. Additional certifications or MOOCs completions outside of the college curriculum will be good to have.- Basics of Collaboration skills.
