This position is a hybrid position to work from Mexico for US clients. You will be working as a consultant directly with US Clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing Unix systems and automating processes using PowerBash, Shell, and other scripting languages.Key Responsibilities:System Administration:Manage and maintain Unix/Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.Monitor system performance and optimize resource usage.Ensure system reliability, availability, and security.Scripting & Automation:Develop and maintain scripts (using Bash, Shell, Python etc.) to automate routine tasks and processes.Implement configuration management tools (e.G., Ansible, Puppet) for automated deployment.Troubleshooting & Support:Diagnose and resolve system issues, providing timely support to users and other IT staff.Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures.Documentation & Reporting:Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.Prepare reports on system performance, uptime, and incidents.Work closely with development and operations teams to support applications and services.Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5+ years of experience as a Unix/Linux Administrator or similar role.Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems (e.G., Solaris, Red Hat).Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Shell, Python) for automation tasks.Experience with monitoring tools (e.G., New Relic and Catchpoint) and performance tuning.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
