.To ensure operational excellence in the way we solution, provision, instrument, manage and continuously improve Citi's Technology Infrastructure services. Providing support to platform/ sector-specific business teams by ensuring that the systems and production environment is optimized in accordance with the organizations standards while meeting business and country specific requirements as appropriate**Key Responsibilites****Infrastructure Operations**- To be accountable for vetting the correctness of the build architecture solution of new projects- To be accountable for technical requirements of projects lies by liaising with the sector/platform teams- To establish risk identification & mitigation planning of end to end technology solutions- To help identify risk resolutions and improvement opportunities and track them to closure through Service Improvement Plans- To promote adoption of technical / architecture standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across the organization- To ensure server availability by monitoring servers and highlighting any issues and recommending remedial actions- To understand risk exposure / situations and recommend remedial actions for issues dues to EOVS/EOL, access restrictions etc.- To drive efficiency across regions while adhering to region's (country's) data privacy laws, legal frameworks, regional practices etc.- To be accountable for root cause analysis for complex incidents- To work in tandem with other sector/Platform Managers to do RCA (Risk control assessments) & decide the resolution- To review infrastructure for Single Points of Failure (SPOF's) and escalate to correct teams- To look for capacity related incidents and bring focus to senior management- To prevent recurrence of issues by analyzing tickets, understand patterns and recommend remedial actions based on global impact of the problem- To identify processes/procedures that are not congruent with industry standards & suggest improvements.**Stakeholder Management**- To collaborate with other sector/platform managers to enable best-in-class service- To be accountable for identifying business platform/sector specific service improvement plans- To develop relationships with key internal customers to identify emerging needs**Typical Experience Levels**- 6-8 years' experience supporting Red Hat LINUX 6 + 7- 1-3 years' experience with Chef- Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, Unix Clustering, SAN technologies (EMC, Hitachi) and OS security.- Experience of Design, System Tuning & Performance Improvements on distributed systems
