If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Unix Systems Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus.Reporting to the IT Senior Manager, the Unix Systems Analyst role involves being responsible for day-to-day 24x7 operation of all high-end enterprise Unix systems (RedHat, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu or relevant Unix Flavor OS).What a typical day looks like:Install, configure, and manage large multi-node clusters on hard/soft/logical system partitions.Utilize and support enterprise storage in both SAN & NAS environment and cloud storage in public clouds.Perform capacity planning, performance tuning, systems monitoring, and disaster recovery.Interface with vendor support, internal application support & DBA team to resolve system issues.Create and maintain process documentation to ensure reliable operation of all systems in a structured ITIL based environment which will exceed all regulatory requirements.The experience we're looking to add to our team:BA/BS/MBA or equivalent work experience.Strong English language analytical, verbal, written, documentation and presentation skills.Previous experience in Linux/Unix/Cloud hands-on system administration with back-end large server experience and or cloud experience.Strong enterprise storage background with experience in SAN/NAS/iSCSI. Knowledge and experience with multi-volume and file managements such as VxVM, SDS, HP LVM, AIX LVM, VxFS, UFS, JFS and NFS.Must have automation skills using either of Ansible or Terraform or Shell scripting (Bourne, Korn, C, puppet, ansible or other) to automate repetitive tasks.Hands-on experience on working in Cloud environment – AWS or Azure or GCP.In-depth understanding of TCP/IP and SAN networking, including routing, zoning, persistent binding, SMTP, DNS, and LDAP.Backup and recovery experience using Veeam, Veritas Netbackup or similar in a SAN environment.Working knowledge in hypervisors e.G. VMWare, Containers, HyperV, IBM DLPAR, Sun LDOM/Containers, Linux KVM.SAN Management and backup experience is also a plus.Cloud Management and orchestration tools is also a plus.OpenShift/Mesos/Kubernetes is also a plus.Baan tools & Oracle DBA knowledge is also a plus
