Job Description:We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to spearhead the development and management of our ETL pipelines. In this role, you will be pivotal in creating, optimizing, and maintaining robust pipelines that process and deliver critical patient-based data. Your primary responsibilities include the creation of ETL pipelines, ensuring their seamless operation, collaboration with clinical data analysts, and facilitating data delivery to AWS S3 for client access. This position requires versatility, problem-solving acumen, and effective communication to cater to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain ETL pipelines using Python 3.9+ and SQL (preferably Postgres) to ensure efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading.Monitor CI/CD processes rigorously to guarantee uninterrupted functioning of ETL pipelines.Coordinate closely with clinical data analysts to prioritize and extract patient-based data, ensuring adherence to quality standards.Handle ad-hoc requests from stakeholders regarding patient-level data, providing timely and accurate information.Package and deliver ETL pipeline outputs to AWS S3, enabling seamless client access.Seamlessly manage multiple ETL pipelines and collaborate effectively with CSS stakeholders.Provide recommendations and drive improvements in code and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.Qualifications:4+ years of hands-on experience managing data pipelines or working on data-intensive software applications.Proficiency in Python 3.9+ and strong expertise in SQL, with a preference for experience with Postgres.Demonstrated collaboration skills using version control tools like Git and merge requests.Prior experience with at least one ETL tool, along with the ability to troubleshoot and debug data-related issues.Exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with non-technical stakeholders.Who You Are:You are a kind, passionate, and collaborative problem-solver, adept at managing time-sensitive tasks with composure even under pressure.
