Your role as a Utilities Automation Engineer:
Ability to lead multifunctional team to deliver sound business solutions to overcome technical, schedule, and costing challenges within new and existing technologies – technology development, initiative delivery (e.g. development & execution of complex learning and qualification plans).
Responsible for technical scope across feasibility, definition, installation, integration, and start-up of new and/or upgraded equipment.
Lead and/or support a team to deliver capital projects for defined scope including planning, design, and implementation of equipment plus associated documentation utilizing standard work processes.
Lead equipment VATs (vendor acceptance tests) and construction for installation plus start-up on purchased equipment including design, development, authoring, and leadership of test plans and qualification plans.
Provide technical and overall direction to vendors and engineering firms throughout all phases of the project (design through construction and startup).
Input to and/or own project scope, cost, schedule, and resourcing plus the ability to quickly embrace and adapt to change.
Delivering project scope at cost and on schedule along with risk management and escalation capability are key skills needed.
Work collaboratively with site / global engineering, technical vendors, equipment suppliers, and production site personnel displaying strong hands-on partnership with operations and supporting operational excellence.
Lead and/or support a team including vendor interactions for equipment specification and procurement process.

Job Qualifications:
Eligible to work in Irapuato Plant.
1 to 4 years of experience in similar roles.
English advanced.
Work experience leading process / packing controls and automation projects, demonstrating strong technical mastery.
Experience in power systems, computing and network technologies, machine control and instrumentation, vision systems, robotics; experience in electrical safety regulations and best practices.
Experience with operations, facilities, utilities and/or process equipment.
Strong programming skills, project leadership, and technical issue resolution.
