We need a strong Principle UX Designer to contribute to design to get us there.The UX Designer in the R&D group will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional members of the development teams to ensure a world-class product design for Omnipod's Mobile App Suite. They will lead, plan and execute on strategic and tactical design initiatives for Android and iOS.We're looking for someone who wants to use design to change the face of diabetes; someone who can innovate and translate a high-level vision into compelling digital experiences.Responsibilities:Work on tactical and innovation UX initiatives within an agile environment.Define safe, effective and delightful user experiences for mobile applications.Contribute to UX discussions with key technical integration partners.Work with User Research, Human Factors, and Instructional Design team to iteratively test early concepts.Present design concepts and user experience vision to all levels of the company.Collaborate with Clinical and Human Factors to ensure designs meet FDA guidelines.Drive innovation initiatives related to UX process, tools or overall design language.Contribute to corporate UX design language development, standards and frameworks.Evangelize the role of UX design across the company.Familiarity with Global design accessibility and localization needs.Skills / Characteristics:Great storyteller both visually and verbally.Builds and maintains positive relationships throughout the organization.Creates a high-performance, customer-centric culture.Charismatic, collaborative and creative designer.Influence key stakeholders in a collaborative manner.Strong strategic focus with analytical skills.Ability to manage conflict and pressure.High level of business and technical acumen.Demonstrates strategic thinking.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or Master's in relevant fields required.2+ years of relevant experience in UX and product design.Advanced knowledge in UX/Dev tools.Fluent in usability standards and design heuristics.Strong portfolio required with storytelling and presentation skills.Experience working in an agile development environment.Ability to collaborate cross-functionally.Experience with mobile applications UX.Working knowledge of User Research tools and methodologies.Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams.Intellectual curiosity and ability to prototype.NOTE: This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements.About InsuletInsulet Corporation is proud to be an equal opportunity employer
