We hold an annual Dodgeball for Charity event at our Q2 Stadium in Austin, inviting other local companies to play, and community organizations we support to raise money and awareness together.- Responsibilities:- Build relationships with and educate cross-functional product teams on methods for conducting rigorous research with end-users.-- Manage research projects with mínimal supervision and rigorously weigh the merits of various research methods for a given problem.-- Conduct mixed-methods user research and testing of both concept-stage and in-progress design work, as well as work with other departments to formulate research plans.-- Transform amorphous requests for research into rigorous project plans.-- Recognize, deeply understand, and analyze user experience issues without introducing bias.-- Engage internal and external research participants through recruitment, screening, study moderation, and compensation.-- Facilitate both live and asynchronous research sessions.-- Generate and reliably analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to produce insights for your product teams.-- Construct surveys, usability test scripts, interview questions, card sorts, tree tests, and other research artifacts-- Develop effective research presentations and reports to communicate results and recommendations-- Collaborate with the rest of the UX Research team on additional research initiatives as needed.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree or higher in UX Design, Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Information Sciences, Computer Science, or similar fields.-- Minimum of 3 years of experience in UX Research or an equivalent amount of experience in a similar role dealing with human insights.-- Strong collaboration, verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills.-- Self-starter with the ability to create structure in an ambiguous environment-- Familiar with UX Design best practices and principles
