Paystand is venture-backed, having been consistently recognized as one of the top innovators in FinTech, and fastest growing companies in the world.**Role at a glance**As a UX Researcher, you will give horizontal support to the different sprint teams by conducting qualitative/quantitative research and usability testing that helps inform each stage of the product development lifecycle to drive cross-functional decision-making and ultimately help deliver world-class products to our customers. This is an incredible opportunity to get in on the ground floor and directly contribute to a company's success and mission.**Role & Responsibilities**- Recruit participants or use online tools to conduct qualitative/quantitative research and usability testing activities in a structured manner- Process the data into useful formats: filtering relevant data and coding or categorizing data to support analysis- Make sense of the data: synthesize, prioritize, evaluate, and make connections between all collected data points. You'll map data in meaningful ways- Distill data into insights: find patterns and trends in the data, produce insights that involve the problem-solving process, understand why people do the things they do, and determine how their experiences can be improved- Test insights against existing knowledge to see what makes sense. Some questions to test may be "How do the generated insights map against internal assumptions and industry patterns?" and "Are they suitable for people/customers they serve?"- Translate and document insights into actionable formats: the data must be easily accessible to all stakeholders who need it, and immediately useful to the design process.- Build research practices & systems to support product growth across the company.**Qualifications & Requirements**- 3-5 years of professional experience as a UX Researcher with a portfolio that demonstrates past work experience in conducting qualitative/quantitative research, and usability testing
