UX ResearcherThe UX Researcher's work is to provide answers to the most challenging questions in the product's design. The UX Researcher reveals what the consumers need from the business's products by conducting primary research, exploring consumer behavior and motivation, and working with the Product Design, Product Management, and Product Development (engineers) departments in developing new product features.The UX Researcher also has to play a role in inspiring change at all stages of the product's development through the delivery of exciting written, oral, and visual presentations about his findings. However, the most fundamental role of the UX Researcher is to assist the entire User Experience (UX) team in understanding what would ensure that the consumer's experience with the product feels more intuitive, usable and accessible.In the performance of this function, the UX Researcher tailors the proposed research approaches in such a way that they avail solutions for core issues that regularly come up in individual stages of the product's lifecycle. The UX Researcher also performs other duties as required by the Senior UX Researcher or the UX Lead.**Position Trends**:The future of UX lies in the information flow between designers, programmers, marketers, researchers, and back. Effective flow of information about specialists is crucial, specially one to one or team to team cooperation.The input from all aspects is included in the complex decision-making process. Designers are cooperating with researchers and created designs based on the data. Programmers can be more focused when they understand what the user's needs and pain are. Cooperation and collaboration should include members from other teams and divisions.Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, remote research became the only possibility for UX researchers. The terrible circumstances of COVID-19 created opportunities for remote user recruiting and testing.**Typical Duties and Responsibilities**:- Conduct surveys of potential or current users- Host focus groups to gather feedback- Compile and analyze UX research results- Provide a report to product design and other teams- Work with various departments to improve our products- Execute UX audits and UX expert reviews.**Education and Background**:This position requires a bachelor's degree in computer design, development, psychology, anthropology, marketing or related fields.**Skills and Competencies**:- A good balance of creative and technical skills- Excellent teamworking skills- Verbal communication skills to present research findings and the reasons behind design recommendations- Strong written communication ability- Enthusiasm for design and technology- Basic understanding of web front-end technologies such as HTML.- Experience of using prototyping and user research software tools.
