Sola Wood Flowers is looking for a UI/UX designer to join our team.
As our UI/UX designer, you will work closely with our marketing and development teams to improve the functional design of our website and related digital marketing channel touchpoints.
We are flexible around experience level, and comfortable hiring someone with between 2 to 6 years of work experience. Experience in/around DTC & eCommerce is preferred but not required.

We're working towards building a modernized $100mm+ vertically-integrated platform selling through direct-to-consumer, owned retail and traditional wholesale channels.
Sola Wood Flowers has grown to ~100 people in less than 4 years and is looking to continue our rapid-growth with the right designer.
Our founders have successfully started, bought and sold consumer brands in the past, and are looking to do it again with Sola Wood!

**Key Objectives**:
- Take complete ownership over designing new site features, redesigning & improving other elements of our site.
- "Get it done" attitude. This role will involve everything from traditional UX/UI work, to ad design and more.
- Analyze and work with data in GA3/GA4, Rockerbox, and other sources to improve our customer experience.
- Conduct customer research alongside the marketing team to discover new opportunities/features our customers want.
**Requirements**:
- This is a hybrid role. You'll predominantly be working from home, but need to be able to be in-person at our Monterrey facility as needed.
- High level of comfort with go-to tools like Figma, Adobe suite, and more.
- No problem jumping into any part of the business. You are eager and ready to learn!
- Comfortable with the idea of working with data.
- Are able to provide references as requested. We do not want to waste your time or ours with a potential mishire. Our interview process is detailed & thorough.
- No issue working ~60 hours routinely. You wouldn't know what to do with your free time if you were working less.

**Examples of What You'll Be Doing**:
- Rehauling existing site elements.
- Designing new features, like our custom bouquet builder!
- Identifying issues on our website that are hurting conversion rates, and then fixing them with great UI!
- Analyzing data to see what is working and what isn't. To do this, you'll use tools like Google Analytics, Rockerbox, FB ads, and more.
**How Our Hiring Works & How We Operate**:
- When hiring, we'll work with you to define the KPIs you'll be responsible for and set targets. This removes ambiguity around wondering if you're doing a good job after you start.
- Initial soft interview, then a long-form live technical interview with the appropriate department. Our average time-to-hire from our first interview is ~8 - 10 days. We pride ourselves on timely responses and updates for applicants.
- We run on EOS/Traction. If you've used Scaling Up or something like OKRs, you'll likely slip into Traction easily! If you haven't used it before, we recommend quickly researching Traction.
- For this specific role, we will walk you through the long-term vision and opportunities that have us excited about this business - and how you fit in.
**How Much Does This Pay?**
We are able to offer up to $3000 USD per month. Initial fixed compensation will be determined based on your existing _relevant_ experience. It's a lot easier for us to start someone at a higher compensation level if they have experience in DTC/eCommerce because they can add value more quickly.
